The Business Development & Relationship Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing clients, reviewing client portfolios periodically, and identifying suitable cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and financial goals. The role requires strong communication, consultative selling ability, and a client-first approach to support revenue growth and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new leads through networking, referrals, events, and relationship building.
Generate new leads through digital marketing initiatives such as social media campaigns, email marketing, online promotions, content marketing, landing pages, and lead capture campaigns in coordination with the marketing team
Meet prospective clients, understand their requirements, and convert qualified leads into business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to improve retention and satisfaction.
Review existing client portfolios on a periodic basis to identify gaps, under-allocation, or new investment/service needs.
Cross-sell and upsell relevant financial or business products to existing clients based on suitability and client needs.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, servicing, and execution for clients.
Track client interactions, follow-ups, sales pipeline, and portfolio review activity through CRM or internal systems.
Conduct in-person and online presentations/workshops for corporates and employees on financial awareness, investment basics, portfolio planning, and wealth creation to generate leads and build brand credibility.
Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, conversions, revenue, and cross-sell business.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge to provide better client solutions.
