About the Team:
Indian Lending Project Management team, responsible for endtoend project and delivery management across multiple client accounts.
The team handles project planning & execution, client coordination, governance, risk/overage management, and Jira-based delivery tracking, working closely with development, QA, and platform teams.
About the Role
As a Jira Project Managerwithin the Lending business, you will support successful client implementations by acting as a Jira subject matter expertand enabling consistent, transparent delivery execution. This role is delivery-facing and outcome-oriented, with Jira serving as the primary tool to drive execution rhythm, reporting, and governance across projects and programs. This is a hybrid role combining Project Management, Jira administration, and process optimization
You will partner closely with Project Managers, delivery leads, and client stakeholders to ensure Jira is used as the single source of truthfor milestones, dependencies, risks/issues, and change decisions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Act as the Jira Administrator and delivery focal pointfor Lending client projects.
- Configure and maintain Jira workflows, issue types, boards, permissions, and dashboardsaligned with delivery governance needs.
- Extract and present Jira data and artefacts (status packs, milestone reports, RAID logs) for leadership and client consumption
- Ensure Jira data hygiene including fields, estimates, statuses, and due dates to maintain reporting accuracy
- Ensure Jira workflows support governance requirements such as approvals, stage gates, and audit traceability
- Design and maintain reusable Jira templates (projects, boards, workflows, dashboards) for consistent delivery execution
- Enable consistent Jira usage through data hygiene, compliance checks, and reporting standards.
- Create stakeholder-ready status dashboards, milestone views, and delivery health reports.
- Support visibility and traceability of dependencies, risks/issues, decisions, and change requests.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of Jira ways of working across engagements.
What You Bring
Knowledge & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience administering Jira in a delivery or Professional Services environment.
- Ability to translate and model delivery lifecycle requirements into Jira workflows and reporting structures
- Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Jira best practices, data discipline, and governance standards
- Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery lifecycles.
- Experience working in client-facing roles with multiple stakeholders and global teams.
- Strong analytical skills with focus on data quality, governance, and traceability.
- Ability to clearly communicate delivery data to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter mindset with a passion for process improvement.
Added Bonus
- Experience in Fintech and/or Lending implementations.
- Familiarity with FIS Jira standards and tooling.
- Power BIor advanced reporting experience.
- Project Management or Agile certifications.
