Job Description
At CDK, the Customer Compliance Analyst supports customer-facing security and compliance activities, with a primary focus on responding to customer security questionnaires and supporting customer audits. This role ensures that responses are accurate, consistent, and aligned with CDKs control environment while helping improve efficiency through process enhancements and automation.
The analyst works cross-functionally to gather required information, track deliverables, and translate audit and compliance requirements into clear, actionable outputs for both internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Questionnaire & Compliance Response
- Support and execute the end-to-end response process for customer security questionnaires, assessments, and ad hoc compliance inquiries.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Security, Product, Engineering, Legal) to gather inputs and validate responses.
- Ensure responses are accurate and aligned with CDKs control posture, consistent across submissions, and delivered within expected timelines.
- Utilize and contribute to standardized response libraries to improve efficiency and consistency.
Customer Audit Support
- Support execution of customer audits by assisting with planning, evidence collection, and response preparation.
- Track audit requests, required artifacts, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Assist in preparing customer-ready materials describing CDKs control environment.
Process Improvement & Execution
- Follow established processes for questionnaire and audit response execution, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to refining workflows that improve consistency, reduce rework, and streamline delivery.
- Support implementation of repeatable processes and templates.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in cybersecurity or a related field, or an equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in security, with at least 2 years in risk assessments or audit.
- Knowledge of Cyber Security, Risk, and Controls in the context of application security (AppSec), cloud security, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience in customer compliance, audit support, GRC, or similar function (preferred in SaaS or enterprise environment).
- Basic understanding of common security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
