Role & responsibilities


Role summary:


Oversee the entire Office Premises lifecycle - from site selection (when required) to manage day-to-day maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), space planning, day to day Office upkeep to ensure Office premises / facilities running smoothly and within budget, including Physical security to protect personnel and assets and Emergency Preparedness along with EHS compliance & best practices.


Scope: Gurgaon (GGN) office (Currently 2500-seater with high tech office system like BMS, Electronic systems) operating on 24 x 7 basis. Directly lead a team and manage a broader ecosystem of contractors and service providers (soft and hard services). Support/coordinate with other India locations as needed.


Reporting: This role reports to the Head of Regional Operations & Services (Global Operations).


Key responsibilities

  • Lead Real Estate and Facility operations for a large site (2500+ seater): Own end-to-end facilities operations including Employee transportation & Meals & refreshment
  • Physical Security Management & EHS: Implements robust security frameworks to protect personnel and assets of company including Emergency Preparedness. Implement & Ensure EHS practices for ISO 45001
  • Implementing & complying to day to day compliance: Support day-to-day compliance practices for smooth running of office & working coordination for STPI/ SEZ as applicable from time to time.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintaining 100% uptime for critical infrastructure and ensuring high occupant satisfaction
  • Financial Aspects: Managing capital projects and Annual operating Opex for area of responsibility from budgeting to execution keeping eye on Total Cost of Operations
  • People & Contractor leadership: Manage a direct team and oversee contractors; set expectations, drive accountability, and build a high-service culture.
  • Strategic leadership: Translate business needs into a clear Real Estate and Facility plan and priorities; drive continuous improvement across service quality, efficiency and scalability.
  • Stakeholder management: Partner effectively with Local as well as Global and cross-functional stakeholders; ensure alignment on standards, priorities, escalations and decision-making.
  • Data analytics & storytelling: Track KPIs, identify trends, and create structured, executive-ready narratives to communicate performance, risks and improvement plans.

Preferred candidate profile


Must-have qualifications & experience

  • Bachelors degree (engineering/architecture/management preferred).
  • Proven Real Estate and Facility leadership experience of about 10 yrs managing a large office environment (2500+ seater).
  • Direct management experience of 10+ team members, plus extensive contractor workforce management.
  • Experience in a multinational company (MNC) with exposure to global operating models and standards.
  • Strong global stakeholder management skills; confident communication with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Strategic leadership with a demonstrable track record of scaling services, improving quality, and optimizing cost.
  • Strong analytical capability and ability to convert data into executive-ready insights and storytelling.
