Program Overview - The Transfer Solutions group is responsible for designing, building, and operating the technology that powers Mastercards next-generation payment applicationsdomestic, CrossBorder, and Bill Payments. Mastercard seeks to define a world beyond cash. To accelerate this mission, we are committed to building scaling products applications that transform payments of any type. Real time payment technology is central to this strategy. The MastercardCross Border platform Pro Finance and services enable secure, near real-time payment transfers to and from billions of card, bank and digital accounts globally. Program Participants (banks, businesses, digital players and more) can modernise the way they send money cross-border, making funds available to recipients almost instantly. Mastercard Cross Border is proven to increase user spend and engagement, strengthening core business performance. We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with hands-on development role in Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Mongo DB, React AWS technology stack to join our Pune team, focusing on the highest standard of quality application development for our Cross-Border payments platform, specifically in the Pro Finance domain. Role Skills Develop application code and unit test in the Rest Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot, Java-J2EE and related open-source technologiesDevelop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest NodeJS based Front End Technologies like React or VueWell versed with Cloud technologies - CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, Hazelcast, AWS Hands-on Experience with RESTful servicesResponsible for leading design development of micro-services built using Sprint-boot on Cloud.Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.Ensure high performance applications which are secure and scalableStrong expertise with HTML, CSS, JS and writing cross-browser compatible code.Well verse with Bitbucket and GitHub and like cloud-based hosting services for version control repositories, primarily using the Git systemIntegrate content feeds via API, JSON, XML, and RSS from both internal and external sources.Hands-on design development experience on Cloud. Exposure to Pivotal Cloud Foundry will be an added advantage.Experience in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulpFamiliar with testing frameworks (Ex. JUnit, Karate, Testerman, Cucumber, Jest, Jasmine)Performance Test using DynatraceDocument application components for support and training materials for MasterCard Quality Assure and follow highest Quality Control processes. Best Add-on AI Skills - Blending AI integration with core engineering principles, specifically prompt engineering, LLM API utilization, and AI-powered debugging/refactoring. Mastery of Python for AI workflows and using tools like GitHub Copilot or JetBrains AI is crucial for productivity. Need to have strong knowledge in one or more of the technology skills mentioned above and exposure to the other skills enough to learn on the job and scale to pick up responsibility of a full stack lead developer. All About You - Strong communication skills both verbal and written with strong relationship building, collaborative skills and organisational skills.Ability to work as a member of a matrix-based, diverse and geographically distributed project team.Demonstrate ethics and values to generate high team trust.
