Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Car Parking Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of parking facilities, ensuring efficient vehicle movement, revenue management, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should have strong operational, team management, and customer service skills with experience in managing large parking facilities at airports, malls, commercial complexes, hospitals, or corporate parks.
Key Responsibilities
Parking Operations Management
- Manage the overall operations of parking facilities and ensure smooth vehicle flow.
- Monitor parking occupancy and optimize space utilization.
- Ensure proper traffic movement and minimize congestion within parking areas.
- Implement parking policies and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with security and facility teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Team Management
- Supervise parking supervisors, attendants, cashiers, and support staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage manpower deployment.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
- Train staff on customer service, safety procedures, and operational standards.
Revenue & Cash Management
- Monitor parking revenue collection and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper functioning of parking ticketing and payment systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue generation and operational efficiency.
- Prevent revenue leakage through regular audits and monitoring.
Customer Service
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate VIP parking arrangements when required.
- Handle escalations related to parking operations.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor CCTV systems and coordinate with security teams.
- Conduct regular inspections of parking facilities.
- Ensure emergency response procedures are followed when required.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with contractors, equipment vendors, and maintenance teams.
- Liaise with facility management, security, and client representatives.
- Ensure parking equipment and infrastructure are maintained and operational.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain operational records and documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports related to occupancy, revenue, incidents, and manpower.
- Analyze parking trends and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/Operations Management preferred).
- Minimum 510 years of experience in parking operations, facility management, transportation, or related fields.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of parking management systems and automated parking solutions.
- Revenue and cash management expertise.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle operational challenges and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
