About the Role
InterraIT is looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer with strong expertise in Python, machine learning, and data engineering. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building data pipelines, developing machine learning models, and working with large datasets using modern cloud and DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines for large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Work with big data technologies such as Spark / PySpark for scalable data processing.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business teams to implement data-driven solutions.
- Deploy ML models using containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor model performance and manage the machine learning lifecycle using tools like MLflow, Airflow, or Kubeflow.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable data and ML workloads.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 yr to 6 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / Data Engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with data processing tools including Pandas, NumPy, Spark / PySpark.
- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience building and managing ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with ML lifecycle management tools (MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow).
