Job Description
Position: Civil Site Engineer
Department: Projects / Construction
Location: PAN India
Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Site Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage building construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality execution, adherence to project timelines, safety compliance, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day building construction activities at the site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil works.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Conduct site measurements and verify contractor bills.
- Monitor material consumption and maintain inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Participate in site inspections and quality checks.
- Track project schedules and ensure timely completion of work.
- Coordinate with MEP and interior teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards at the site.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2-8 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Knowledge of RCC, finishing works, quantity estimation, and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and billing.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial building projects.
- Understanding of construction quality standards and safety practices.
- Problem-solving and team management abilities.
