Position Overview
Group Bayport is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SolidWorks Executive to join our Production team at Manufacturing Unit 3 in Gandhinagar. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying product designs using SolidWorks software, supporting manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient product development from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Drafting: Create and modify detailed product components, complex assemblies, and precise technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and design teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, and highly manufacturable solutions.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all design outputs strictly comply with company quality, safety, and production standards.
• Design Reviews: Participate actively in design reviews and efficiently implement feedback and engineering changes as required. Production Support: Provide timely technical support to the shop floor and production teams to resolve any design-related issues during manufacturing.
• Documentation: Maintain, update, and organize design documentation, Bill of Materials (BOM), and engineering records.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product designs and streamline manufacturing processes.


Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Software Proficiency: Strong, demonstrable proficiency in SolidWorks software.
• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), engineering drawings, and core manufacturing processes.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with effective communication and teamwork skills
