Job Title: Billing Executive
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Andheri East )
Experience: 1-3 Years
Timings- 9:30 Am - 6:30 PM
Week Off- Sunday
Role Overview - We are looking for a Billing Executive to manage customer invoicing, billing documentation, and coordination with operations and accounts teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in billing, invoicing, and record management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process customer invoices as per agreed rates.
- Verify trip sheets, PODs, and supporting documents before billing.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Coordinate with operations and accounts teams for billing-related matters.
- Track outstanding invoices and support payment follow-ups.
- Reconcile billing data with transport records.
- Prepare billing reports and MIS.
- Handle invoice revisions, debit notes, and credit notes.
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 13 years of billing/invoicing experience.
- Logistics, transport, or freight industry experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and billing software.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred
- Experience in transport billing and freight invoicing.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
- Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
