Job Description

Position: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job Type:  Permanent

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner

 Experience: 7+ Years

Band: B3 Location: Hyderabad

Mandatory Skills:

• 510 years of experience in Software Test Automation using Java/J2EE or C#.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, Design Patterns, Recursive & Non-Recursive Programming, Method Overloading, Method Overriding, Collections (ArrayList, Vector, HashSet), Serialization, etc.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong coding and automation experience with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript.
• Candidates with 6+ years of experience should have Automation Framework Development experience.
• Hands-on experience in API Automation using Rest Assured, Karate, or similar tools.
• Experience with In-Sprint Automation in Agile environments using BDD/Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Experience in Database Validation and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, TestNG, and Serenity.
• Experience in Continuous Test Automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience in Automation Lifecycle activities including Feasibility Analysis, Estimation, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently own and drive deliverables.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work from Wipro or Customer premises at least 3 days per week.

Good to Have:

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible/Chef, MongoDB, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Nexus, or JFrog.
• Experience in enabling In-Sprint Automation for Non-Functional Testing such as:
• Performance Testing (JMeter)
• Accessibility Testing (JAWS)
• Visual Testing (Applitools)
• Knowledge of code quality tools such as SonarQube, JaCoCo, and SeaLights.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their applicability in Testing.
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Manual Testing experience on Web Applications.
