Technical Project Manager --Data Projects (BFSI Domain)
Experience: 8 --12 Years
Work Location: Bangalore / Chennai
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days from Client / TechM Office)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong exposure to Data Engineering and Data Management projects in the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing end-to-end data lifecycle initiatives, coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams, and driving successful project delivery.
The candidate will lead a team of 10-15 associates and play a key role in requirement gathering, delivery governance, stakeholder communication, risk management, day to day transaction, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Data and Analytics projects for BFSI clients.
- Handle the complete Data Lifecycle including data ingestion, processing, transformation, storage, governance, and reporting.
- Collaborate directly with clients for requirement gathering, solution discussions, status updates, and delivery planning.
- Lead and manage a team of 10-15 associates, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Track project progress, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues & project financials.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Coordinate with multiple teams including development, infrastructure, QA, business, and support teams.
- Drive project execution using standard project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to delivery commitments, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, team members, and client teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-12 years of overall IT experience with strong project management exposure.
- Proven experience in managing Data Engineering / Data Management projects.
- Good understanding of the complete Data Lifecycle.
- Experience in BFSI domain projects is mandatory.
