Role Overview
Responsible for leading regional business development, technical sales, key accounts, channel partners, and revenue growth for Pentaaqua's water and wastewater treatment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional Sales and Marketing team and achieve revenue, profitability, order-booking and collection targets.
- Identify upcoming projects, generate qualified leads and maintain a strong regional sales pipeline.
- Develop business through consultants, architects, builders, developers, PMCs, MEP contractors, EPC companies, industries and institutional clients.
- Drive technical and solution-based sales for STP, WTP, RO, hydro-pneumatic systems, pumping systems, filtration units, membranes and services.
- Promote packaged and prefabricated solutions, including MBR, MBBR and SBR-based STPs, packaged RO plants, disc filters, media filters, softeners and swimming-pool filtration systems.
- Develop opportunities for packaged and civil-based turnkey treatment plants , excluding civil works wherever applicable.
- Conduct technical presentations, techno-commercial discussions, proposal reviews, negotiations and order closures.
- Establish and manage key accounts across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
- Develop dealer, agent and channel-partner networks and support them in lead generation, technical selling and order closure.
- Drive vendor registrations and product approvals with consultants, developers, contractors and institutional organisations.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, consultant meets and client-engagement programmes.
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, technologies and pricing, and recommend suitable regional growth strategies.
- Coordinate with Proposal, Design, Estimation, Engineering and Execution teams for timely project conversion and delivery.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, conversion plans and regional business-development strategies.
- Travel extensively across the assigned region to develop business and strengthen customer relationships.
Candidate Profile
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering;
- MBA in Marketing preferred.
- Strong experience in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Building Services, Pumping Systems, MEP, Infrastructure or Technical Project Sales.
- Established network with consultants, developers, PMCs, EPC contractors and institutional clients.
- Experience in leading sales teams, managing channel partners and closing high-value projects.
- Strong technical presentation, negotiation, commercial and leadership capabilities.
- Target-driven professional capable of independently developing and scaling regional business.
