About the Company: Marg ECOD (Each Company Own Data) is a cutting-edge, highly secure cloud data-management and automated integration platform designed exclusively for the pharmaceutical ecosystem. Connected to a massive network of over 80,000+ distributors and 1.5 Lakh+ retailers, ECOD revolutionizes how pharmaceutical manufacturing companies map their primary, secondary, and tertiary sales by establishing an encrypted, automated data pipe. We eliminate manual reporting errors, prevent stockouts, and protect data privacy for Indias leading pharma brands.


Role Summary: We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager / B2B Enterprise BD who can lead the adoption of Marg ECOD. Your core mission will be pitching to C-suite executives, Commercial Directors, National Sales Managers, and IT Heads at pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, demonstrating how ECOD can streamline their supply chain data, tracking, and market analytics.

Job Responsibilities


1. Enterprise Lead Generation & Pipeline Management


  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify, map, and target mid-to-large-scale Indian and multinational Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Companies (Formulations, Generics, and OTC) that experience gaps in tracking their secondary and tertiary sales data.

  • Leveraging the Existing Network: Strategically approach pharma manufacturers by mapping their existing distributor networks against Marg ECODs active database of 80,000+ distributors to showcase immediate deployment capability.

  • End-to-End Sales Cycle Ownership: Own the entire enterprise B2B sales funnel, from cold outreach, initial discovery calls, and multi-stakeholder technical presentations to commercial negotiations, contract closures, and smooth handoff to the implementation team.

2. C-Suite Consultative Pitching & Stakeholder Management


  • Multi-Department Navigation: Navigate complex enterprise structures in pharma firms. You will build relationships and concurrently manage expectations across multiple departments:
    • Commercial / National Sales Heads: Pitching market share growth, reducing stockouts, and maximizing sales force effectiveness.

    • Supply Chain / Logistics Heads: Pitching real-time stock visibility, transit optimization, and automated inventory sync.

    • IT Directors / CIOs: Demonstrating API performance, system security, and smooth ERP integration (SAP, Oracle, Marg, etc.).

  • Tailored Demonstrations: Conduct deeply customized technical software demonstrations to showcase how ECOD automates data pipes without disturbing existing legacy systems.

3. Solution Selling & Financial Value Presentation


  • ROI Modeling: Translate software features into tangible business profits. Build business cases proving how real-time data tracking minimizes losses from near-expiry stock returns, transit damages, and production overruns.

  • Business Intelligence Evangelism: Train clients to visualize how ECOD's continuous data ingestion feeds their analytics dashboards, enabling instant, pin-code-wise sales mapping and micro-market analysis.

4. Overcoming Advanced Technical & Security Objections


  • Data Security Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to address sensitive industry concerns regarding corporate espionage and data privacy. Defend ECOD's core architecture, including its point-to-point encrypted data pathways and strict data-deletion policy on intermediary servers.

  • Compliance Alignment: Walk the client's legal and data compliance teams through ECODs data sovereignty frameworks, assuring them that "Each Company Owns their Data" permanently.

5. Account Management & Expansion Strategies


  • Pilot-to-Enterprise Scaling: Successfully manage initial "Pilot Runs" with target pharma brands, prove value fast, and scale the contract into full, pan-India commercial software rollouts.

  • Churn Mitigation & Relationship Building: Maintain quarterly health checks with active client leadership teams to ensure high software adoption rates, collect product feedback for the development team, and look for cross-selling opportunities.
