Job Description


We are seeking for a Product Manager for our Hospital Division - Domestic Brands.


Role & responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Develop annual brand plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Identify market opportunities across segments
  • Drive positioning based on scientific differentiation
  • Manage product lifecycles
  • Manage forecasting, inventory planning, and SKU rationalization.

2. Scientific & Clinical Marketing

  • Convert clinical evidence into impactful marketing materials (detail aids, visual aids, monographs, CMEs).
  • Work with medical affairs to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Support development of study-based campaigns and publication amplification.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs for Advisory board Meetings, Protocol development.
  • Create training modules for the sales team on product science and competitive differentiation.

3. Hospital Mapping & Brand Entry Strategy

  • Understanding on Hospital Working Potential mapping & Different centers.
  • Working closely with Hospitals for Protocol development, cross talks with different specialties (inter disciplinary teams)
  • Activating the different centers within the hospitals- IP/ OP/ Dialysis/ Onco units etc.

4. Field Force Enablement

  • Develop promotional inputs, campaign briefs, and launch toolkits.
  • Conduct cycle meetings and field training programs.
  • Track secondary sales, prescription generation, and Prescribers
  • Monitor ROI of campaigns and optimize resource allocation.

5. KOL Engagement

  • Collaborate with Super Specialty doctors (Intensivists, Onco, Nephro, Gastro & dieticians)
  • Support advisory boards, symposiums, and conference activations, CMEs, round tables, and scientific meets.
  • Build advocacy around clinical protocols and nutrition pathways.
  • Identify regional influencers to strengthen Brand Advocacy

6. Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities across different segments & Disease conditions
  • Analyze internal sales data for performance insights.
  • Recommend action plan for Brand Penetration

Education:

  • MBA (Marketing) / PGDM preferred
  • Science Graduates/ Pharmacy/ Nutrition

Preferred candidate profile

  • 12 years as Product Executive in Hospital Division
  • Exposure to Super Specialists ( Intensivists, Onco etc) preferred.
  • Experience in launching or managing nutrition brands will be an advantage
