Job Description

    Designation  - Asst. Manager

    • Responsibilities:
    • Manpower Planning:

    Forecasting Manpower requirements & Budget calculation, Headcount Approval, Designing Hiring Plan, Organizational restructuring.

    • Talent Acquisition, Recruitment & Selection:
    1. Ensuring skilled manpower availability in Plant off-Roll category.
    2. Recruitment of On Roll employees and ensuring the fulfilment of all Positions of organization as per agreed time plan.
    3. Responsible for hiring across all the levels. Role mapping process for evolution of JDs with clear Roles and Responsibility.
    • Joining Formalities and Orientation of new hired and smooth transition into the new role.
    • Capability Development of Employees through Training & Development:

    Training and Development of Staff:

    • Drive & facilitate complete process of Training & Development for Staff. Design and Development of initiatives / plans/ programs for Employee Learning & Development in order to attain the envisaged objectives.

    Training and Skill up gradation of process of Casual Employee:

    • Drive the DOJO Training process and skill up gradation process towards skill up gradation of Blue casual employees.
    • Performance Appraisal and Annual Salary Review:

    Responsible for yearly Appraisal of employees, Performance Review: KRA system and MPCP (Managing point and checking point), Leading the moderation exercise, promotions and salary rationalization and re-designation decisions.

    • HR Business Partner:

     

    Driving and deploying Employee Engagement, cultural environment and working norms and execution of HR policies.

    • Statutory Compliances:

    Ensuring timely compliances of all statutory requirements under different labour Laws. Renewal various licenses/filing of returns. License with external agencies, government authorities including Labour department, Health and safety, PF, ESIC, etc. 

    Employees counseling, grievances handling and disciplinary.

    • Payroll Management:

    Supervision of Wages and Salary administration and related statutory compliances.

    Hands on exposure of outsourcing the complete payroll and related statutory compliances activity to third party for all business locations and ensuring the timely and accurate deliverables.

    • Industrial Relations and Welfare and Employee Engagement:
    • Ensuring the harmonious and cordial industrial relations working environment across all employee levels in plant by implementing various proactive HR activities, Employee Engagement activities, Employee Welfare and Recognition of Employees and Reward System.
    • Implementing IR strategy and disciplinary proceedings and Management.
    • Experience of Handling Industrial unrest issues.
    • Smoothly run works committee, canteen committee, sports committee, safety committee, prevention of sexual harassment committee.
    • Health and Safety Initiatives:

    Periodical safety Audits and necessary preventive and corrective measures.

    • Contract Labour Management
    • Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirement for Quality Management, Health and Safety, Environmental policies and general duty of care.(IATF, OHSAS, VSA, Customer Audits handling).
    • Ensuring to meet the need of employees and Management in terms of General administration of Security, Transport, Canteen, Housekeeping and Company provided benefits etc.
    • HR Budgeting
    • MIS
    • Significant Contribution:
    1. HR Coordination in Organization Development initiative program for Business Plan achievement through MPCP (Managing point and checking point based on pillar of Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety & Morale), Policies review, Roles & Responsibility and DWM (Daily Work Management), Aligning PMS with MPCP.
    2. Setting HR objectives for the business in congruence with the business strategy like Staffing, Trainings Man-hour, Training Spread, Manpower cost, Attrition rate, Accident, Statutory Compliances.
    3. Implemented and carried out complete process of Blue collar employees Training and skill up gradation process DOJO training process (consisting employee orientation and Training on 8 pillars of DOJO Training).
    4. Member of core team entrusted with deployment of Total Employee Involvement process, under facilitation from MACE (Maruti SUZUKI Center of excellence). Spearheaded the deployment of 5S, KAIZEN, Employee Motivation and Engagement initiatives.
    • Regulatory Compliance:
      • Deep knowledge in Legal compliances, Labour Laws, Statutory Laws, Factory Act, Pay-roll etc
      • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as ISO 9001, IATF, or other applicable standards.
      • Coordinate with regulatory agencies to address compliance issues.
    • Risk Management:
      • Identify and assess safety-related risks.
      • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
      • Monitor and control risks to minimize their impact on safety.
    • Qualifications & Exp. :
    • Advanced degree (e.g., Master's or MBA) preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of in Education & Training (Mace Audit). *Mandatory
    • Proficiency in quality pay-roll software.
