Job Summary

This role is for a Test Lead with seven to nine years of experience to drive end to end quality assurance for enterprise solutions using IBM TPF SAP MDM NW GDS Mainframes and Katalon in a hybrid work model focusing on reliable delivery for travel intermediary clients and scalable systems for a global multinational organization.


Responsibilities

  • Drive comprehensive test strategy definition across IBM TPF SAP MDM NW GDS Mainframes and Katalon based applications to ensure consistent delivery of high quality enterprise solutions that meet stakeholder expectations and operational performance standards.
  • Coordinate test planning activities for hybrid teams by organizing test scopes timelines and resource needs so that day shift execution is efficient traceable and aligned with project milestones in a large multinational environment.
  • Design detailed manual and automated test cases using Katalon for complex integration scenarios involving IBM TPF SAP MDM NW GDS and Mainframes to validate functional coverage data integrity and system resilience under varied business workflows.
  • Execute regression integration and system testing across mainframe and distributed platforms in a controlled day shift schedule to identify defects early reduce production incidents and support stable releases for customer facing solutions.
  • Analyze test results defect trends and incident data to provide actionable insights to development and product teams that improve quality reduce rework and enhance the reliability of services delivered to travel intermediary partners.
  • Collaborate closely with developers functional analysts and business stakeholders to clarify requirements align on acceptance criteria and ensure test scenarios accurately reflect core business processes and regulatory obligations.
  • Implement robust test data management practices for IBM TPF and Mainframes by defining reusable datasets masking sensitive information and ensuring consistency across environments to support repeatable and compliant testing cycles.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test plans execution reports and defect summaries to ensure clear communication of quality status and enable audit ready traceability for enterprise programs.
  • Optimize automation frameworks in Katalon by refining reusable components improving stability of scripts and integrating reporting capabilities that provide transparent views of automation coverage and execution outcomes.
  • Mentor junior quality practitioners through knowledge sharing on IBM TPF SAP MDM NW GDS Mainframes and Katalon enabling continuous skill development and consistent application of quality standards within the team.
  • Coordinate with environment and operations teams to ensure required test environments interfaces and data feeds are available stable and aligned with production like configurations to minimize environment related test delays.
  • Engage with client representatives from travel intermediary domains when applicable to validate critical journeys such as booking ticketing and settlement flows ensuring that test coverage reflects real world usage and customer expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps in the test lifecycle proposing pragmatic enhancements and supporting adoption of best practices that raise overall quality maturity across projects.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess hands on experience in IBM TPF testing that includes understanding of transaction flows system behavior under load and validation of critical operational scenarios for large scale platforms.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in SAP MDM NW GDS testing by validating master data synchronization data quality rules and integration behavior between enterprise systems and external partners.
  • Apply practical working knowledge of Mainframes to design and execute tests that verify batch processing online transactions and data consistency while collaborating with mainframe developers and operators.
  • Utilize Katalon effectively to develop maintain and execute automated regression suites that increase test coverage reduce manual effort and accelerate feedback cycles for frequent releases.
  • Exhibit foundational understanding of travel intermediary processes such as inventory distribution pricing and booking workflows to design meaningful test scenarios that reflect realistic customer journeys.
  • Communicate clearly in spoken and written form with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to present test approaches status updates and risk assessments in an understandable and concise manner.
  • Adapt to a hybrid work model by managing time coordination and collaboration tools effectively ensuring consistent productivity and responsive engagement during designated day shift hours.
