Engineer - Maintenance @ Faurecia

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Analyze mechanical and operational issues on assigned equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot PLC, CNC machines, robots, and utility equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Support TPM initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and audit documentation.
• Coordinate equipment movements and installation activities on the shop floor.
• Ensure availability of spare parts and consumables to minimize downtime.
• Train operators on safe equipment operation.
• Conduct start-of-shift safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support commissioning and trial runs after repairs, modifications, and shutdowns.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of PLC and CNC machines.
• Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi PLC programming.
• Experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa robots.
• Exposure to Pipe Bending Machines, Fanuc CNC, Siemens CNC, PLC-based SPM Machines.
• Utility maintenance experience including Air Compressors and Diesel Generators.
• Understanding of TPM and manufacturing maintenance systems.
