Job Description
Job Title: Technical Program Manager (TPM)
Location: Chennai (Work from Office)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) who can drive end-to-end delivery of complex software projects while working closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Business teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience managing Agile software development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple software development projects from planning to production release.
Coordinate with Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
Work with Architects and Engineering Leads to understand system design, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and technical dependencies.
Maintain project tracking and documentation using Jira and Confluence.
Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting.
Identify and resolve blockers to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Technical Program Manager or Technical Project Manager experience.
7+ years working with Software Engineering teams.
Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Strong stakeholder and cross-functional team management skills.
Experience managing software product development projects.
Understanding of System Design, APIs, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working with Frontend, Backend, and DevOps teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in AdTech, MarTech, SaaS, FinTech, or Product-based companies.
Exposure to AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
Experience managing data-intensive or real-time applications.
Understanding of Microservices and Distributed Systems.
