Regional Head - API Business Development @ Harman Finochem

Job Description

Key Responsibilities -

• Develop and implement international business strategies aligned with company growth objectives
• Identify and prioritize new markets in EU for API division
• Lead market entry strategies including product registrations, licensing, and partnerships
• Drive sales for pharmaceutical products in specified region.( EU)
• Identify new revenue streams throughout-licensing, contract manufacturing (CDMO), and distribution agreements
• Lead high-value negotiations with global clients, distributors, and institutional buyers
• Establish and manage relationships with international distributors, agents, and pharma companies
• Collaborate on joint ventures, co-development, and commercialization agreements
• Ensure compliance with international regulatory requirements (USFDA, EMA, MHRA, WHO-GMP, etc.)
• Work closely with Regulatory Affairs teams on product approvals and dossier submissions
• Keep updated with global pharma regulations, trade policies, and quality standards
• Analyze global pharmaceutical trends, pricing, and competitive landscape
• Drive product portfolio selection based on demand, profitability, and regulatory feasibility
• Monitor tender opportunities, institutional business, and government contracts
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, QA/QC, Manufacturing, Finance, and Marketing teams
• Ensure smooth execution of export orders, logistics, and supply commitments
• Oversee P&L for international business operations with specific focus on EU
