Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst (Data + AI Testing) with strong expertise in ETL Testing, Data Validation, Python Automation, SQL, and AI Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating data pipelines, automating testing processes, and leveraging AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, LLMs, and Prompt Engineering to improve testing efficiency and quality.
The candidate should be comfortable working across application, database, automation, and AI layers while ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and automation scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, system architecture, and data flows.
- Design and execute test strategies for applications, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, backend, and data validation testing.
- Validate large datasets using SQL and Snowflake queries.
- Perform ETL testing including:
- Source-to-target validation
- Transformation logic validation
- Data reconciliation
- Data quality checks
- Build and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and scripts.
- Develop AI-assisted testing solutions using:
- GitHub Copilot
- Cursor
- LLM-based tools
- Prompt Engineering techniques
- Automate data quality validation, anomaly detection, and reporting processes.
- Analyze data discrepancies and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business teams to resolve defects.
- Maintain test documentation, validation reports, SQL scripts, automation assets, and AI workflows.
Mandatory Skills
Data & ETL Testing
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA/Data Testing.
- Strong experience in ETL/ELT Testing and Data Validation.
- Experience in Source-to-Target Testing and Data Reconciliation.
SQL & Snowflake
- Strong SQL expertise:
- Joins
- CTEs
- Window Functions
- Complex queries
- Query Optimization
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Data Warehouse platforms.
Python Automation
- Strong Python programming experience for:
- Automation
- Data Validation
- Data Quality Checks
- Framework Development
AI Testing (Mandatory)
- Minimum 6 months+ of hands-on experience in AI Testing.
- Experience with:
- Cursor
- GitHub Copilot
- Prompt Engineering
- LLM Testing
- Generative AI Validation
- Ability to validate AI-generated outputs for:
- Accuracy
- Consistency
- Hallucinations
- Response Quality
Test Automation
- Experience with:
- PyTest
- Robot Framework
- Similar Automation Frameworks
Good to Have
- CI/CD integration experience.
- Experience with Databricks, Hadoop, or Big Data technologies.
- Cloud platforms:
- Azure
- AWS
- Knowledge of LLM-based automation frameworks.
- Experience in AI-assisted QA processes.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
