About the Job

The Management Information System (MIS) Specialist for the Learning Development team is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting training data to support business decisions, learning effectiveness, and compliance requirements. This role ensures accurate, timely, and insightful reporting on training performance, learner progress, certifications, and operational metrics, enabling stakeholders to track outcomes and improve learning interventions.


As a MIS Specialist, You Will

  • Maintain and manage completion / compliance data from multiple sources (Internal LMS programs, assessments, attendance trackers, feedback tools).
  • Create, automate, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for training programs, certifications, and compliance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all LD reports.
  • Analyze training effectiveness using KPIs such as completion rates, assessment scores, certification pass rates, and post-training performance.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities in learning programs.
  • Provide actionable insights to LD leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as MS Excel, Google Sheets LookerStudio platforms.
  • Automate recurring reports to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and deep-dive analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with Trainers, Instructional Designers, Quality, HR, and Operations teams.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting related to training and certifications.
  • Act as the single point of contact for LD data and reporting queries.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and adherence to organizational data policies.
  • Partner with stakeholders across different regions.


As a MIS Specialist, You Need

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Applications, HR, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant domain experience is compulsory.
  • Prior experience supporting Learning Development, HR, or Training teams is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required (minimum CEFR B2 level).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets LookerStudio.
  • Basic understanding of databases, data validation, and automation tools.
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights in a simple, business-friendly manner.
  • Good stakeholder communication and management skills.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • Willingness to be flexible to support time-sensitive reporting or audits, which may include occasional weekend work.
  • Commitment to working at any site in Hyderabad.
