 Technical Project Manager

Job Description

eClerx is Hiring

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Technical Project Manager to spearhead the end-to-end lifecycle management of our digital and performance marketing campaigns. In this role, you will not just look at platform metrics; you will be the ultimate orchestrator bridging the gap between business stakeholders, creative designers, content writers, and engineering teams (web and mobile app developers).

The ideal candidate has a profound foundational understanding of paid media platforms but has evolved into a strategic coordinator capable of building standard operating procedures (SOPs), managing team bandwidth, creating dynamic project plans, and finding immediate technical workarounds to ensure flawless campaign deployment under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign End-to-End Lifecycle & Project Management

  • Intake & Briefing: Act as the primary point of contact for business/marketing requesters to gather technical and creative campaign requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Scope, build, and maintain cross-functional project timelines involving Copywriting, Design, Web Development, and App Engineering teams.
  • Capacity & Bandwidth Planning: Evaluate and manage the resource capacity of technical teams. Proactively resolve bandwidth conflicts when multiple regional or product campaigns have conflicting launch dates.
  • Pre-Go-Live Risk Management: Account for external technical dependencies (e.g., Google Play Store/iOS App Store review cycles, ad network compliance checks, financial service policies) into the upfront project milestone mapping.

2. Technical Campaign Infrastructure & Integration

  • Lead Architecture: Oversee the plumbing of the Lead Management System (LMS). Ensure that APIs, data webhooks, and tracking mechanisms (Google Tag Manager, pixels) accurately capture and transition digital leads to the sales ecosystem.
  • Marketing Technology (MarTech) Strategy: Govern reporting dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio/Data Studio) to create centralized visibility for all active campaign pipelines and post-launch optimization insights.
  • Fallback & Continuity Planning: Formulate instant, tactical workarounds when assets face delays (e.g., setting up native platform lead gen forms when custom landing pages aren't ready; capturing leads via web pages for future retargeting when app rollouts are delayed).

3. Compliance & Stakeholder Management

  • Regional Compliance Coordination: Liaise with Legal and Compliance teams to navigate regional policy frameworks (e.g., cross-border APAC requirements, data collection laws, and finance marketing policies).
  • Stakeholder Communication: Manage expectations around campaign launch risks, offering data-backed alternatives on platform selection when time-to-market is compromised.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Functional Competencies

  • Project Management Frameworks: Proven experience running agile campaigns, building clear SOPs, and utilizing project tracking software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Paid Media & Lifecycle Knowledge: Direct working knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Search/Display Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Email/SMS/WhatsApp marketing setups, and native automated chatbot integrations.
  • MarTech Plumbing: Solid understanding of tracking setups (GTM, Webhooks, Pixels) and CRM/LMS data flows.
  • Analytics: Proficiency in building multi-channel centralized reports via Looker Studio (Data Studio) or similar BI tools.

Behavioral & Soft Skills

  • Problem-Solving & Agility: Demonstrated capability to architect creative, alternative fallback channels under strict go-live constraints.
  • Influence Without Authority: Ability to negotiate timelines and prioritize workloads with developer leads and external product managers who do not directly report to you.
  • Exceptional Communication: Clear ability to translate complex engineering/review delays into business impact terms for corporate stakeholders.

Experience Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Digital Marketing.
  • Experience: 710+ years of cross-functional experience navigating digital marketing ecosystems, with at least 3+ years explicitly focused on driving marketing technical projects, product rollouts, or campaign lifecycle management.
  • Geographic Scope: Experience navigating domestic markets with an understanding of running cross-border/regional campaigns (specifically APAC) is highly preferred.
