Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly capable and delivery-focused Python Project Manager who can lead engineering teams, manage end-to-end project delivery, and drive business outcomes with strong technical and managerial expertise. The ideal candidate should possess deep experience in Python-based application development, project execution, stakeholder management, AI tools/frameworks, team growth, and delivery governance.

The candidate should be capable of handling multiple teams/projects, participating in leadership discussions, and ensuring successful delivery with high engineering quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
- Own end-to-end project delivery lifecycle from requirement gathering to production deployment and support.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, delivery roadmaps, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Drive Agile/Scrum delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track project progress, dependencies, risks, blockers, and provide regular status updates to leadership and clients.
- Ensure delivery governance, process adherence, and operational excellence.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance to Python development teams.
- Review architecture, coding standards, scalability, performance, and security best practices.
- Participate in solution design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Maintain hands-on understanding of:
- Python ecosystem
- APIs & microservices
- Cloud platforms
- AI/ML integrations
- Automation frameworks
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of critical technical issues.
Team Management & Growth
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams.
- Drive hiring, onboarding, performance management, and capability development.
- Foster ownership, accountability, innovation, and collaboration within teams.
- Identify skill gaps and implement upskilling plans.
- Build future-ready teams aligned with business growth objectives.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in leadership, client, and strategic business discussions.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into execution plans.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and successful delivery.
- Manage expectations, escalations, and change requests effectively.
AI & Innovation Focus
- Drive adoption of AI tools, automation frameworks, and productivity accelerators.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies/frameworks for engineering and operational efficiency.
- Promote engineering excellence using AI-assisted development practices.
- Focus on ROI-driven execution and optimization initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Python development ecosystem.
- Experience with frameworks such as:
- Django
- FastAPI
- Flask
- Understanding of:
- REST APIs
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CI/CD pipelines
- DevOps practices
- Database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks and tools such as:
- TensorFlow
- PyTorch
- LangChain
- OpenAI API
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and productivity platforms.
Project Management Skills
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery.
- Expertise in project planning, estimation, budgeting, and resource management.
- Strong risk management and escalation handling capabilities.
- Experience managing distributed/global teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Leadership & Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP / Scrum Master / Agile certifications preferred.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
- Exposure to AI-driven delivery optimization initiatives.
