Job Description
Job Title: PMO
Experience: 8+ Years
Location: Gurugram
Job Summary
The PMO is responsible for supporting the planning, governance, reporting, resource management, and coordination activities of Infrastructure Management Services projects. The role ensures adherence to project management processes, tracks project progress, manages project documentation, and provides regular status reporting to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project managers in planning, execution, and monitoring of IMS projects.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, trackers, dashboards, and status reports.
- Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
- Track resource allocation, utilization, and project budgets.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and customer reviews.
- Ensure compliance with organizational PMO standards, processes, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain project repositories, change requests, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and lessons learned documents.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc management reports.
- Support audit and compliance activities related to infrastructure projects.
- Follow up with teams for deliverables and ensure project timelines are met.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and PMO practices.
- Experience in Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) environments.
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure domains such as Windows, Linux, Network, Database, Cloud, and Service Desk operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Charts), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar tools.
- Strong reporting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or equivalent PM certification.
- Experience in managed services or infrastructure support projects.
- Knowledge of SLA, KPI, and operational reporting.
Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech, BSc, BCA, MBA, or equivalent degree.
- Relevant certifications in Project Management or IT Service Management are preferred.
