A Senior ServiceNow Developer designs, configures, and customizes the Now Platform to meet complex business needs, acting as a technical expert for implementations. Key responsibilities include creating workflows, scripts, and integrations (REST/SOAP) while leading development tasks, conducting code reviews, and ensuring best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

Configure and customize ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.) using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.

Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP web services, MID servers, and JDBC.

Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications.

Lead small development teams, mentor junior developers, and conduct quality control checks (code reviews) to ensure performance and standards.

Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and platform upgrades.

Maintain technical documentation, including process flows and design specifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills

5 years in ServiceNow development and administration.

Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and web services (REST/SOAP).

In-depth understanding of ServiceNow core modules and architecture.

Certifications (Good to have):

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) (Any)
