Role Overview: We are looking for a highly capable General Manager to lead company-wide execution, operations, and business growth across global markets. This role requires a strong operator with deep expertise in both the Indian and global e-commerce ecosystem, along with the ability to manage complex cross-border business dynamics.
The role carries full responsibility for aligning and driving performance across India, Western markets (EU & US), and South Asia (including China and other key regions).
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive overall company performance, including revenue growth, leading strategic growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across all markets.
- Lead and manage company-wide sales, operations, and execution across India and international markets.
- Take full ownership of company-level growth, profitability, and delivery of business targets.
- Define, implement, and ensure achievement of targets and objectives across cross-country teams.
- Oversee and align all functions including sales, marketing, operations, and partnerships across geographies.
- Drive India market growth, while scaling business across Western markets (EU, US) and South Asia (including China)
- Build and manage strategic partnerships across the global and Indian e-commerce ecosystem.
- Represent the company in key business engagements, partnerships, and industry interactions.
- Integrating AI into current settings of working.
- Build, refine, and optimize internal processes to ensure the company operates efficiently, economically, and seamlessly at scale.
- Manage a team of over 70+ people spread across various office locations globally.
- Identify team requirements and build supporting functions (sales, marketing, business development) as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years, Strong experience in both the Indian and global e-commerce ecosystem/market.
- Proven expertise in cross-border e-commerce, including international sales, logistics, and operations.
- Deep, well-established connections in the global and Indian e-commerce industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-market operations across Western and South Asian regions.
- Exceptional ability to set up, refine, and optimize business processes for efficient and scalable operations.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to deliver on company targets and growth objectives.
- Experience managing P&L and driving profitability.
- Managing a direct reporting team of 10+ people.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate across both strategy and execution.
